Project Description:
HRD was involved in enabling migration of sql * forms 3.0 to forms version 5.0, designing the migrated forms and also developing new forms. Apart from that, HRD was also involved in redesigning the forms to deploy them on the web, as per the user’s requirement and handling debugging, testing and deploying the forms on the web using forms version 6. These forms are used by the end-users (company itself and its other branches all over the world). These forms are used for day to day production, changes in the recipes (chemical combinations), list of chemicals used, temperature maintenance, density of water, pH balance, suppliers, customers, and much more. Other technical responsibilities included customization of the menus and toolbars as per the client's requirements, generation of ER-diagrams, extensive usage of PL/SQL packages, stored Procedures, functions, development of packages & triggers, cursors to update, delete or insert the data that is being entered by the users. Triggers maintain data integrity and errors were handled by Error Handling events. Last, but not the least involved in managing log files.
